Be-Sol was founded in 2000. At first an engineering office only for ESE, a company specialized in solar energy, Be-Sol has gradually expanded its activities to become a R&D office dedicated to renewable energies. Be-Sol has thus developed two business sectors: energy storage and HVAC.

The R&D energy storage sector of Be-Sol is specialized in the study of projects up to the realization of prototypes. Due to its small flexible structure, Be-Sol covers a large part of R&D fields: study of energy transformation and storage systems (thermochemistry, solar,...), mechanical engineering starting with a POC (Proof Of Concept) and followed by the realization of small or real size prototypes in our workshops, data acquisition and data analysis as well as numerical simulations of fluid dynamics and thermal behaviour.

We have participated and are still participating in several Walloon (FEDER) and European (FP7) research projects in collaboration with European companies and research centers. The company was not only involved but also coordinated projects.

Our skills are not limited to research and also cover the administrative, scientific and human management of projects.

Be-Sol can be a link between universities or research centers and private companies. Our area of activity is between TRL3 and TR9. In addition to public research projects, we also work with private companies that wish to develop their business in general or have a specific project to study.

The HVAC sector of Be-Sol develops and markets heat and cold distribution systems and also markets adsorption cooling systems.
